From

Ultrarama
Star Trek Action Figure Display & Storage System
Display tips for your Ultarama
- The
Ultarama is designed to display 3 ¾" - 6" figures
that have pre-molded peg holes on the bottom of their feet.
- Your
Star Trek Ultarama comes with two complete levels that you can
use to display your collection. Each level has a total of 40 peg holes
that have been pre-molded into the base of your unit. With the Ultarama's
uniquely designed pegs that have been made to easily and snuggly fit
into the pre-molded peg holes, you can display a total of 80 figures!
- When
fully assembled in a semicircular shape, the Ultarama is 18 inches
tall, 23 inches wide, and 10 inches deep.
- The
Ultarama was designed to stack six stories high while resting
on a table or shelf. We do not recommend directly attaching the Ultarama
to a wall; rather, we recommend placing your Ultarama on a wall-mounted
shelf.
- Your
Ultarama is fully modular and can be configured and expanded in
many ways. A cover, however, would not be able to grow and expand as
you grow and expand your Ultarama. Once you have created your
perfect display, there are many local molders who make covers for autographed
sports memorabilia that can easily and inexpensively make a cover for
you.
- If
your 6" pegs fit a little too tightly into my 4 ¾"
figures, all you need is thirty seconds and a hand-held hair dryer.
Hold the hair dryer approximately six inches from your figure's pre-molded
peg holes. Blow hot air for thirty seconds on the figure's pre-molded
peg holes and then peg your figure.
- If
your figure does not have a pre-molded peg hole and you would like to
use the pegs provided with your Ultarama, then you need to drill
a hole into the bottom of your figure's foot. We do not recommend doing
this if you are concerned that a drilled hole might alter the condition,
collectability or value of your figure. For current 3 ¾"
figure releases, a 5/64" high speed steel drill bit should be suitable.
For current 6" figure releases, a 1/8" high speed steel drill
bit should be suitable.
- Expanding
Your Ultarama: You can stack your Ultarama up to six levels
high when configured in a semicircular shape. When you display your
units back-to-back using the pre-molded clips, however, you can stack
them as high as you like.
